Early Dismissal:  8:20 am - 12:45 pm
 
Delayed Opening:  9:50 am - 2:50 pm

Regular Hours:  8:45 am - 1:45 pm
 
Early Dismissal:  8:45 am - 11:15 am
 
Delayed Opening:  10:15 am - 1:45 pm
 
LUNCH HOURS
 
Grade 2 Lunch:  11:30 am
 
Grade 1 Lunch:  12:00 pm
 
Grade K Lunch:  12:30 pm

  • ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL:

    o Drop off begins at 8:00. Prior to 8:00 we have no supervision for students. Students may not be dropped off before 8:00 AM. They will not be allowed in the building (unless they are participating in the YMCA’s before care program).

    o Pick up is at 2:50. Students who don’t take the bus home are expected to have a responsible adult here to pick them up at 2:50 (unless they participate in the YMCA’s after care program).

    o If you need information about the YMCA’s programs because of difficulty with drop off or pick up time, please contact Mrs. Bruhn in the main office for the YMCA’s contact information.

Mountain Way School is an early childhood learning community serving the needs of Morris Plains’ children in preschool through second grade. Our school philosophy embraces each child entering school and recognizes his or her unique needs, abilities, aptitudes, and interests. The Scholastic Book Fair is May 21st - 24th!
The Book Fair is a Buy One Get One Free event.
We have extended hours on Wednesday, May 22nd until 5:30pm. Milk and cookies will be served while Mrs Vieira reads to the kids. Great way to stock up for summer reading.

Mountain Way Field Days - SAVE THE DATE

The Mountain Way year-end field days have been scheduled. Please mark your calendars, lots of parent volunteers are needed for these fun-filled days. Volunteer sign up links will be sent out shortly.

Field Days are:
Kindergarten  - Monday June 17th
First Grade- Wednesday, June 19th
Second Grade - Friday, June 21st
